Can anybody ID this bud please?

Just been clearing out/organizing some pics on my phone and came across this that I took last year. I was on a course and it appeared on the table and had never seen one before so wondered what it was?

Does anybody know, just curious what it is, looks like a green cockroach to me?

They are called shield bugs or stink bugs ( Pentatomoidea) they can spray a smelly substance as a defence mechanism. Quite harmless though.

hope that helps i kinda have a major intrest in entomology
There is pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar, I love not man the less, but Nature more.
