I scalped my mates sofa for the leather a while back.
It was only a couple of nights ago I cut the pieces out for a new brewkit bag but the needles I have are rubbish. I always use fishing braid for stitching as nothing will break it.
Nice bag mate.
Two I made for a bit of skinned sofa that M@ from the forum gave me at the last but one meet we had I made them so the shine side is on the inside.
You brave lads, my misses would skin me if I touched our sofa with a knife! (it isnt that old BTW) cracking idea tho' nice goods.
