I had my teenage years in the 80's, so it was The Smiths, Jesus & Mary Chain, The Cult and that kind of thing.
Surprise surprise, those X Factor 'bands' and the type of music they sing has never really made it into my CD collection.
Can't say I'm 'into' specific bands any more, whether new or old - I'll listen to whatever I'm in the mood for. Like a bit of Radio 3, myself.
