    When I joined the Army in 87 this was the only place that sold decent kit also they were recommended by the instructors, one of my first buys was a gortex bivi bag which was a god send in training.

    Aye likewise 1982 onwards to Ian C then they opened a store in Glasgow (Buchanan Street) between them & Bridge Street Surplus (both closed late 1990's) they kitted out half the Scottish Div, SAS, Para's, Marines in the area incl' Gransby 1990. Great to see the SA UK thriving. I was chatting to Andy Salmond S.A UK Ltd earlier, hinting at him to mention re-opening a Glasgow or Edinburgh branch.
