Hi guys.. I have not heard from Ashley and there is another who has put their name down for this weekend, so I am not sure how many are coming,, I am pretty sure Road Kill Phil is coming.. He had better be cos he has my maglite which I am missing..
Well night one was chilly. Learnt that snugpak topquilts are not good for winter use on their own
Big thanks to Jonny for a wicked weekend! Was nice to meet some new people and have a chill round the fire Cheers to Glenn for knocking up a wicked stew and some awesome cobbler! Good to see Jus again, hope you get ya van sorted soon mate! Thanks again everyone for everything!
Hi Guy's,
Sorry I had to go early, my son had a rugby match so I was up with the birds......didn't hear any snoring...I hope I didn't.
Great to catch up and great to meet new friends as always.
Thanks for the venue JP, hopefully I'll see you all at the fast approaching R.V. at Easter.
Cheers
Glen

Cheers guys, thanks for popping down, n thank you Glen for that grub.

I will try n sort out another meet when its all greened over and warmer..
Phil.. I will take your chair to the RV, if I don't see you sooner..
Thanks for a great weekend guys, it was a cracker. Was great to see Jus and Jonny again. Had a walk down to Talland Bay while we were there. A propper little rugged bay which was once well known as a landing spot for smugglers. It has a shingle beach which stones are a light purple colour, coming from the large seams over in the unstable cliffs.
Weather wasn't too bad. A bit cold at times but also blowing a bit. most of the night I was rocking in my hammock like a baby in a cradle !!.
Glen, It was great to meet you for the first time and the food was excellent. Especially the Cobbler and Cornish Clotted Cream, which was to die for and could have graced the menu of any decent restaurant.
Jonny made some great spoons, he makes it look easy. I spent quite a while at times watching how he did it and I've now come home with a better idea how to make carving easier and quicker.
Cheers chaps, good to see you all again. Thanks Jon for the invite, always enjoy a visit to your place and Glen, handsome food mate!
What's the date for this one gents? Why do I think it's the weekend just gone!!
