Kuksa !

I started this project in the spring.



It has sat in my 'to do' basket for months



I have spent the summer learning new skills and traveling around the West Country.



Last week I finally sat down with my MiniMac knife and finished him off.



I've just taken multiple orders for more.
Looks like I'm going to be busy for a while

This kuksa is carved by Jon Mac using the three primary bushcraft edge tools.
Axe, knife and hook knife.
This rams head kuksa is carved from green birch and has been coloured with careful use of a flame, then oiled.

I love the look of that. I'm going to nick your idea of scorching the wood to give it colour.
Any chance you could post some clearer pictures of the ram's head on the handle.

Anyway, great stuff and a lovely colour and shape. Kuksas don't normally do much for me since they can look all much-a-muchness, but your's is one the few that I'd like to own.
