    Long term forecast is showing showers and cold, i Cant wait for this and the last of my new gear turned up yesterday.

    Plus1 (Mike) will certainly be there. I'll be stopping with him the night before so even if he changes his mind I shall pack him up in my rucksack and bring him anyway. It's Terry (Yalding, Kent) landowner who is likely to still be hybernating. I shall none the less nag him starting tonight.

    With regard to the red wine Tony, I think you are spot on there mate. I shall see if I can source a decent bottle from France before hand.

    Well chaps, it would seem that Terry (of the Yalding permission) is going to come! He was concerned about being cold, wet and miserable. I said we'd certainly keep him warm and dry

    Apart from the stuff I've yet to purchase (Port, Cheese, booze, bacon joint, cola), I'm all packed! I know there's over a week to go still but I'm all packed!
