ID:	10823So the idea of carry a firesteel around on a piece of jewellery is not a totally new one. A Paracord bracelet is the most common of course. A small firesteel is often attached as back up bit of kit.

    I wanted to do something a bit different and useing more natural materials rather that paracord and kydex. Also I what to make my firesteel necklace not look less a hard core bit of survival gear. Unless you where told you my not think my necklace was a firesteel at all. It just looks like a nice bit of masculine tribal style jewellery ..


    To use you just undo the leather cord then remove the antler cap and a small striker is on the back. So this is just a back up fiesteel and you are going to use it if you really need to. I think that someone with good fire craft skills will get at least 12 fires out of this firesteel
