    Autumn Dartmoor Trip

Returned from Dartmoor today (didn't want to leave!)

We had a jolly-jaunt to Martin's pleasure ... one of those treks that turn into an adventure and subsequently a good map exercise

We found a lovely spot for the night, near to a river, here's a few photos from our trip:

    Obligatory Group Shot:

We might look a little miserable but trust me we were all content and happy! I think we're all probably look serious as we were focusing on being absolutely still for an exposure time of 6 seconds!.. Checkout the misty effect on the river to the left

    Brew Stop #1

After climbing a rather step woodland trail we decided to stop for our first brew stop of the day, fire-up the white box stove and grab some coffee

    Salmon Rowe perhaps?

We follow some beautiful wild and unspoilt rivers on our trip and on the side of this mossy bank we notice what looked like some Salmon rowe, we thought possibly an otter may have caught one and dragged it up onto the bank, either that or someone fishing. There were no other remains around the rowe.

    Home for the night

So ready for whatever this week brings, that was one sweet bimble.

Legs are feeling a little tight now though.

Martin took some of the best long exposure shots of the river shown above, makes it all white and flowing, we've both wanted to give that kind of shot a try for a while
