Id try drilling two small holes at edges of each handle, then add key ring rings and chain??
Yeah that was what I was thinking may also drill some real small holes in the lid, at the edge so as not to break the seal on the pan, just what to use as a handle?!

Use some chain like this

I would maybe go for a slightly larger size myself as any hooks you may use on a tripod would fit through the links easier if you were trying to level the pot. I use this type of chain on my tripod and cast iron gear and it does the job well.
Drill a hole through that lid handle and add a bit of chain to that as well.
A chain handle is one idea, the reason I'm thinking of attaching something to the lid is so I can do the obligatory frying pan lid mod..

Hi Freddy ... I would be very reluctant to drill into any cast metal other than aluminium ...
the stresses that build up during the initial cooling phase could be released as you drill ...
and subsequent heating and cooling could cause the handles to crack right off !!!
I would be tempted to make a cradle around the pot resting under the handles ,
either of chain or swaged stainless steel cable and use the same as your handle loop ...
No damage to the pot and it can be re - used in its domestic role easily with no loss of function ...

Life's a beach .... and then the tide comes in ....
I do believe the Encona pots are cast aluminium so should be ok.
I'd be tempted to drill 2 holes, as said earlier and fasten a couple small Dia, St/Steel low profile bolts in.
That way you could use a chain or wire handle, without interfering with the lid seating.
Or I would maybe weld 2 studs in to do the same job.
Just my initial thoughts, good luck, whatever you do

Nobody wins, unless everybody wins
It's real light so I reckon it's aluminium, It's not been used in months so the domestic usage is not an issue, I just need it to not tip up when in use... This project is on the back burner for now, got the elderberry's soaking ready to be pressed today!!
