    Hah, I burned it all in one go...I think I deserve it, I have kept my last find of fat wood in my tinder box for a year now...

    yes definitely worth it after the hard work, dont know if you know but if you leave the bark on it will make your fat wood store longer. If you take the outer bark off, the fat wood tends to dry out in a few months.
