    Fry up.

I don't suppose I'm the only one.. but after a few days in the woods eating pasta and stew type meals I get a longing for fry up's so I thought I'd pass this on. I quite like these, there's another one I think called 'Egg Brunch' which is nice too, but I haven't got one to show at the moment.

Basically just sliced spud, onion and bacon bits in a cooking oil, so I just chuck it in the mess tin and heat it up.
They're 'long life' (May 2014 this one) and definitely not light weight..400 grammes but not as stuffed with saturates as might be expected, so not too unhealthy if that worries you..

I bet that sits on your gut.

My guilty pleasure is a tin of sausages and beans. I know they are quite probably the ropiest sausages in the world made from hoof, lip, and ringpiece. So I choose not to think about it and just enjoy them. Now it's got me thinking, tin of sausage and beans on toast...with a few mushrooms...mmm, like manna from nirvana...

here's a little recipe I picked up, easy to carry the ingredients in,

    easy eggs

    use a muffin tin
a small dollop of olive oil, a square of ham, a spoonful of chopped tomatoes, some grated cheese, salt and pepper, and egg cracked over the top, takes minutes to prepare, cook and eat, yum,yum

    Actually, that sounds bloody lovely.
I wonder if it could be dumbed down by replacing the ham with a slab of spam or luncheon sausage?
    I quite fancy that.

Hmm....perhaps with a nice runny poached egg?

I can see them selling out, might be a good time to buy stocks/shares
