How did the waxing hold up in the recent weather, is it a worthwhile mod for the SSS? Any problems with the wax rubbing off onto the clothes underneath?

I've not really had chance to test it out in a full downpour. Everytime it's been raining Ive been protected under the trees!!
No problems with wax getting on the clothes underneath, once it's soaked into the cotton it seems to stay there.
Only problems I had were off the Mrs for getting wax on the hairdryer I was using to melt the wax into the cotton.
