not me buddy, I THRIVE on being away from people, spent most of my childhood and a big chunk of my adult life alone, I prefer to be alone.

But seem to be by your own admission a ' virtual ' social animal... by frequenting and being well know on lots of forums...

that's not really the same as being in a group situation is it? and its mostly prepper related anyway. I don't speak to anyone I know for months at a time(excluding the dog and the wife that is).

You want to be careful how you say that but I take your point, in the main animals are far better company than most people.

    Aye that's a fair point.

Isn't it nice when someone says "that's a great piece of kit, where did you buy that", then you can modestly reply "you can't buy it, I made it myself". The moral is, it's amazing what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.

yeah most of them just grunt !!!:tongue sorry if I'm not actually with someone(as in standing next to them) then I don't think I'm being a "social animal", a comment typed on a page is like sending a letter.

Its still a form of communication and a lot more instant than a letter. The very fact you have a wife and a dog confirms you as a social animal, you just chose which people and animals to socialise with..if you were really anti social then surely ypou would live conpletely alone and away fron human contact full stop....and I bet you talk to your dog...I know I do
