Hi woodsman, have you got room for another? Not long been in the area and keen to meet other bushcrafters in North Wales...

So as I'm a newbie to the group, a couple of questions... Is the site/wood on private land? if yes, can I bring my bow and arrows without getting into trouble? When we (the Essex boys) have a bushcraft weekend, we all bring along stuff for a big english breaky (with extra bacon)... so you have such a tradition?

Yes the site is private land, and yes you can bring bows /arrows, air rifles, catapults, whatever. Obviously range safety will need to be adhered. We normally have a group meal on a saturday night that everyone contributes to. Usually about £3, but I'm sure there would be a few interested in a big sunday brekkie too !

Hey Tony - Relocated! Think of me as your travelling sales rep! I will be showing off your knife building skills to the guys here. I still go back to sunny Essex now and then, so hope to meet up again. Looks like your last one was another success. This planned weekender is the same weekend as the next Essex boys trip. Give the boys my regards and have a swig of the amber nectar for me! I'm about to be a Daddy
