    So would you recommend them Wayne? I've been looking for some new boots and notice these posted about on another site so thought I'd have a punt and grabbed a pair to see if they was any good.

    Not bought, but for my birthday i got surprised with a voucher to go on a Backwoodsman Course at the Backwoods Survival School.
    Very excited!

    Excellent stuff. You'll have to let us know how you get on. Most of the courses for bushcraft are well constructed, and most of the tutors are very good teachers.

    It shouldn't be too strenuous. Sounds like a good amount of skills to learn about in that course. Could be worth taking a notebook and pencil (the instructors usually like that kind of thing too).
