    I received my tenth wonder green hornet hammock yesterday and have modded it, removed the webbing and added homemade whoopie slings and ridge line, works a treat,

    What a difference having the right tools for the job,Shower of sparks into my char cloth n a flame very quickly!almost as quick as a box of matches.Have been struggling with a piece of file,n not much success,This steel n flint is for under a tenner,including First class postage.is a real bargain.Wish I'd had one earlier!!!

    I noticed Aldi are doing some marino wool sets, not sure if they're any good though. Does anybody have them/recommend them?

    Not sure about their Marino wool sets, but they did some basic thermal base layers a while back, which are superb. Really thin, but really warm, and they wick moisture pretty well too.
