Warbonnet Superfly Tarp (£102 in hand)

Finally done it. Wanted a Superfly for a while now since seeing Suggy's, how small it packed down to and its weight. Luckily he had a spare so dont have to wait for delivery from US either Cant wait to get it up over weekend with new skyline ridgeline and dutchware bits. Like a kid at Xmas

    Price tag: 7£

I liked the look of that stove and picked one up from Ebay a few days ago. Its the 111B and looks to be in good nick. Needs a good clean and a seal change like Rune did on his but no tools with this one.

Does anybody know what the difference is between the 111T and the 111B.

The most important difference is that the Optimus 111B runs on coleman fuel only as it was designed for the US market, and it has a roarer burner so it will be very noisy.
The Optimus 111 is purely a parafine burner (roarer type)
While the Optimus 111T is a trifuel burner with as silent cap. Wich means it will burn parafine and coleman fuel + meths with a special adapter.

Since the 111B burns gasoline (thats what coleman fuel is) make sure all your gaskets are in order, and never release the pressure from the tank before the stove is cold, or you risk igniting the gas vapours, and never ever use gasoline from the pump. Use Coleman fuel or similar.

Here is a link to the manual for your stove:

Thanks for the info Rune, much appreciated.

It says that only white gasoline (unleaded) is to be used and not car petrol. Anybody know what I can use instead of Colman fuel as its far too expensive.

Coleman fuel is just Naphta with some rust inhibiting stuff added to it.
    Try that :-)

Googled it a bit and in the UK, Naphta is sold as panel wipe. But aparantly not all panel wipes are naphta, so read the lable.

There is pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar, I love not man the less, but Nature more.
