I'd bring a pad too for extra warmth, as it's a static camp, we go heavy! The DD under blanket will allow you to open up your bag as a top quilt so you benefit from the extra loft on top (so they say)
If you need anything else just holler. Just bring bring your grub and booze. Oh and don't forget the booze! Ha.
Blimey paul you starting as early as me these days

Did any one fancy a trip to the bushcraft store on the Saturday. It's only half hour away from site?

    Sounds good!
Have you got Friday PM off, or are you coming straight after work?

Is the .22 springer still a no-no mate?

    Just not meant to be.

For a year and half ive been going to doctors asking ti see a specialist for my back.
Today in the post came the date, 25th october at 4:15pm.
The day I want to go with you guys.

Yesterday I spent near on 180 quid on bits I need for the camp. But if I cancel the doctor I could be waiting ages again. And today it took me half hour to stand up straight.

I would say what should I do but tbh I prob know what you will say, and deep down I know its right.

Just gutted.managed to talk missus round and she canceled my birthday meal ( oh thats on the friday aswell) then this happens.

    Im goin of to sulk

Thanks for the concern about distance, both of you, I'm sort of living and working out of Addlestone at the moment so it wont be too bad, if someone can link me to the thread with the details re fee's etc parking that would be great.

Thanks in advance, and see you all soon

my missus has told me im going to the specialist so thats that.
im gutted though, one because I hate telling people I will do something and then not.

and the other reason yet again my back is stopping my do something I want to do.

been telling the doc for years whsts wrong, my father his 9 brothers and sisters and even my sister all have same problem so its likely thats what I have. Apparently though they have a procedure to follow
