    Any ideas?

    Anyone know what this monster is?... I'm guessing it's an exotic garden plant that has escaped as I'm sure I've seen them in National Trust gardens. For size comparison my Leuku has a 7 inch blade..

    Is it Gunnera which is a plant from the rhubarb family usually grows in quite boggy areas ?

    Brilliant! Well done Mouse. It's South American, what's it's doing where I found it is anybodys guess, far from boggy there. Although the local Manor House may have some in it's garden or round the lake, and the birds have dropped seeds from it. Thanks for that..
