    Look again..

Still smiling about this..Went for a short wander which took me past the parking area for the Nature Reserve. A pimped Renault Clio with four young lads in, windows down in the hot sunshine and skinny white arms hanging out. As I went by on the mountain bike I heard one say.."There's **** all here, let's go" and they drove off.
So I stopped, got the camera out and took these photos.

Less than 200 metres away, watching us but unseen by them...

And growing in the grass bank around the parking area..

Sheep's-Bit glowing in the hot sun..

What I think is Evening Primrose (a garden escapee)

Judging by the discarded dog ends they were all smokers, so they wouldn't have smelled the Thyme anyway..

And hanging in the sky above us, no doubt seeing just about everything...

Last post for a while. Tomorrow I'm backpacking a few days supply into the wood, so that on Monday I only have the tent and some lighter kit to carry. Here's the menu...I got the Wayfarers half price and I just add 'Smash' spuds..and that for me is really exotic cooking..

    Travel safely all.

Great Tale and photos. Have a super trip and hopefully there'll be more photos when you get back.

    Enjoy,
