I use an inflatable pillow. A cheapo one. I inflate it 70% and put it in the hood of my sleeping bag. Never moves and is very comfortable. Only you can decide weather you need one or not mate.

I have one of these for when using my hammock.

I picked it up in a charity shop for a quid a while back. It is very comfy.

US issue poncho liner/woobie/ranger blanket, works great, soft and squishy, and can pull part of it over your head to block out the evil sunshine the next morning while you slowly wake.

Trek mates deluxe for me too. I boost the height with a dry bag of clothes too, mainly due to a week clavicle which gives my shoulders jip if I don't.

I always use a pillow in my hammock, I just have one of those cheap £5 hi gear ones. Just like a little extra comfort, Im not keen on the feel of the sleeping bag on my bold head

Take your time and do not rush, take in every thing while out in the brush.
