Would anyone happen to know what type of mushroom these are? found them in the woodlands at work

That's Dryads Saddle pal. Edible and meaty when young but gets a lot tougher with age.

Interesting, thanks Ade. I've not tried those before and they do look quite meaty.

I found some the size of dinner plates last week, they are really fast growing and can grow quite large in 24hrs. I will see if I have the photo when I get home tonight and post it up.
