Keeping clean when out for some time..

I normally rely on wet wipes to keep me clean, but I have been away in the wood for 5 days and doing heavy work last week, so I needed something better than wet wipes.
I do boil up a pan of water and use some soap n a flannel, but I thought I would show what I think is the best way of getting clean. Its so easy too..

    Make a sauna..
All you need is about 4 hazel, willow, or any other bendy wood poles about 3 to 4 meters (ish) long, a tarpaulin, some non porous rocks or stones, water n a fire..

Make a bender with the poles by pushing the ends into the ground and forming loops. I tied mine together at the top where they all meet. Then throw your tarp over the bender and peg down if its windy. Heat up the rocks for some time in the fire. Carry the hot rocks into the sauna using two sticks, or a shovel if you have one like I did lol.. Strip off and get into the sauna and shut the tarp right down. Pour water over the rocks n sweat away to your hearts content.
Now when you come out you should jump into a cold lake like the Swedes do, but I just wiped meself down with hot water n a flannel.
    I felt amazing after..
I could not get many pics, but this will give you the idea..

You do not need as many rocks as I put in there btw..

    Does look impressive chap!!

I generally get some really hot water and just use a flannel, and have strip wash, I also use antiseptic wipes on my feet and man bits.

Seems to work ok so far!!

    Cheers

Great idea. I helped build a 10 person one, when we were at a camp, and the showers had stopped working!
