    That's a beautiful thing, Jonny... I read somewhere that they're extremely windproof and can handle a snowload. Looks like a lot of fun;
    love the ceiling light. Now I want one...

    Ceiling light is great as you can lay in bed n look at the moon n stars, but its not nice having so much light first thing in the morning.. I need to rig up a round curtain somehow..

    I lived in one for a few months it was a lovely space much more cosy than the tipi which is hard work to heat in the winter, in the yurt I had all mod cons a woodburner (gas bottle stove) and a single gas ring for a instant brew in the morning, on the colder nights going into Oct, Nov. I just moved closer to the burner, slept in my clothes and added another wool blanket, snug as a bug.
