    MMM! Blue yum yum

Went back into the wood this morning to retrieve some gear I had cached. A tarp that needed drying, a few tins from Rat Packs I hadn't used etc: Someone small and furry and able to climb a metre off the deck decided to be nosey...It's only a cheap dry-bag courtesy of Aldi but I hope it gave him bellyache...Little Rat...well ok, Mouse then.

In a few short days Spring has come to the wood. It's full of birdsong and the woodland floor is a carpet of wood Anenomes, 'Windflowers' most people here call them. There's Cowslips on the stream bank and the trees have that green misty look about them.

On the way to the wood the ploughed land has a green shadow and new life is everywhere.

The Green Man works his magic..

Nice pics, thanks you for sharing (+1 rep).

It snowed here last Friday and on Saturday too, but the snow has melted now.

Oh, those mischievous meeces! The little horrors had a feed off some freshly puttied windows a while back so we put out a couple of traps one baited with putty and one baitless.
The baitless one got the deviant, must have learnt the lesson!

Cracking pics, those sheep look thinner than the ones next to where I am working at the mo' I hope this means they are still in lamb as there have been some recent problems with an irresponsible owner of several dogs. (Currently awaiting prosecution)

Nice to see the Sussex woodland coming to life!

Only a week now, are you lighting a fire for Walpurgis night?

There will be a fire yes, as I plan to be in the wood. Not strictly one of our Saxon Heathen festivals so no Demons for me that night, but hey! I think of it as Beltane and that's Celtic..So a fire there will definitely be
