    Definitely get it patented . Looks a lot more comfortable than many other designs I've seen .

    like Sapper says, get it patented quickly before it gets into general use and someone else does

    There are certainly ways around patents, but if properly thought through before submission, they can prove a useful defence against some money bags corporation trying to rip off your idea(s).

    But doing it properly will require advice for an expert in intellectual property and I've yet to meet a lawyer who gives good advice for free.

    If the prospect of selling the idea is fading and you have the time and the cost of required materials will not leave you seriously out of pocket, make a few yourself and flog them on here and the other forums you are on.

    I'd buy one.

    thanks guys,when i was trading as hunter catapults some lil sod set up and was copying my designs ,and to be honest short of visiting him there was nothing i could do. i may consider making them to sell .
