    Carrying Sling

I am a net maker by avocation. I have made countless mesh bags, hammocks, etc. over the past 35 years. A few years ago I needed to move some large rocks located along a fence row where a wheel barrow couldn't go. With one person at each end of this sling the rocks were moved easily. I used a 2" wide gauge using some left over jute. Extra lines along the edge of the net are a bit shorter than the netting so that a "belly" is formed as in a garden hammock. The rocks rest in the belly and can not fall out. This also makes a good firewood carrier . Tony

    Now that's some outdoor art!
It's amazing what you can do with a net such as this .

We owe the debt of our blood to our ancestors and our skills to their perserverance.
