    I used a rotary tool (Dremel like thing) with a cutting disc. Cut a cross in the side of the tin, then bent the triangles inward, so there were no sharp edges to catch fingers on, while feeding twigs into it

    I use the same as Adam. Aldi sometimes have them in and to be honest, they are not a bad piece of kit for the money. Mine was in the stock end bin and cost £3.50.
