    New jacket

New year - new jacket!! Anyone recommend a waterproof, wind proof, hard wearing, end of the world proof jacket?

I've got my eye on one of these at the moment, any comments?

Hi buddy, I dont think you will find the smock shown in the link is waterproof.. looks like a copy of the old SAS ventile windproof.

If you like the military style jacket, what about the HELIKON verson of the ECWCS gen 11 jacket... available in Olive green, Black, various camo patterns.
HELIKON supply various military special forces...
Try helikon-tex.com on google (top site)... then www. Military 1st.co.uk, they do the ECWCS jacket for
76 GBP. here in the UK

In my humble opinion, a good W'Proof jacket.

    Hope that helps?

    Dave

Hey bud, I've been informed that I have too many coats by SWMSBO, but I did like the look of this one that Jon's wearing in this picture, an Endicotts purchase I believe http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/fo...=1501#post1501

I like the look of that one as well, but I'm not too keen on camo. They do it in olive as well but I think it's £180+. I so like the look of the one Dave recomended, £70...and it comes in black. I like military gear that doesn't look like military gear, if you know what I mean.
