I'm in Crowborough quite a bit, my sister lives there, Fielden Rd.

Love your work mate. I was salivating looking at your roast!
    Hi Paul.

Fielden Road isn't that far from me. I'm on the same side of Crowborough.

As for the roast, there was enough there for six people with ease. I can't wait to get outside this Boxing day to do it all again. The meat really does just fall apart and melt in the mouth, and the crackling is just superb. Served with jackets potatoes cooked on the same fire along with Waitrose Grand Mange, it makes for almost the perfect outdoor meal

And this is the best use for an old childrens swing and dexion shelf!

My project for the next coming year, is to build a wood fired pizza/bread oven. I'll then be making my own bread outside as well.

Ref the wood pile, we get through loads of wood, and rather than just stack it up with a sheet over, I just thought that I would do something different and make it into a feature. There are more.

It isn't a bad hobby to have, and it is slowly developing into a business. I generally just use found/discarded wood, and go from there. It's a good way to chill out, and quite often I will try try to get children involved with certain aspects, by teaching them how to look at wood, saw it, drill it, chisel it, etc. It's my way giving something back to society.

This was my first carving and also my biggest at over 12' tall.

And here is 'seasonal' log stack!

The top of the above log stack.

I have used the wood as a form of protective cover/tile. It is suprising just how well this works.

    Positively brilliant .
    LOL! Love the figure.
Very clever with the stacking - you could probably make a house like that .

Out interest does the Surname 'Kemp' sound familiar? Someone that I can't say that I was ever that fond of, but there again I was much younger then, so perhaps should not judge someone too harshly.

Also the Surname 'Noble' Noble (Scott) would have been in the ATC late seventies, early eighties. He was a really nice quiet unassuming lad, who would have been of school leaving at in approx 1981. We were friends up until school leaving age, then we lost track of each other. I was told that he went on to join the RAF and went to to become Tornado air crew. I can imagine that he probably did, as he was always destined to be officer material. Although how he would have ever managed to press a death button is a bit beyond me, as he was always just too nice, as were his mum and dad. Here is wishing you a Happy New Year Scott, where ever you are.
