Whilst out for a walk last month around Beechwood Nature Reserve (south of the city) I came across this awesome tree carving. There is supposed to be another one deeper into the woods, a Squirrel carved out of a tree stump, but I couldn't get to it as a large area had been sectioned off due to this Ash dieback issue spreading the UK currently. Anyway, this is one of my first posts here, other than to just introduce myself. Hope you enjoy.

. There a sort of mystical quality about seeing that carving on a living tree.
