    I think I will stick with my first idea it wont be so expensive especially when we have to close roads for it

    I do mate but he sort of butchered the last bit I wanted doing so I'm going to get a one of the saws I mentioned above as I need to cut some out I will post a picture when I get it done Well if it works out that is LOL

    Is it just to make the slots deeper, so they're directly under the bow? If it is, you could just screw a couple pieces of wood to the top of the post, to bring the bow out from the centre of the post

    I have decided to go with Adams idea as it is cheaper than a 4 mile piece of metal Now I'm just waiting for some long screws from my neighbour as I haven't got any
