Well, well, somebody sent me a bunch of survival goodies that arrived in the mail today.
Ammong the them the rubber bands for a catty. Looks very much like the ones on top there Al.

As a kid, I never had access to that kind of rubber bands. So I have no idea how to attach them. I get a liitle wiser by looking at your pictures Al, but could you describe the process for me?

    Hey Rune,
I haven't done it myself yet, my "catty" or slingshot as we say here in the US is in the very slow construction stage now; but there are a couple of really good instructional videos that I found on You Tube:

    How to make slingshot bands

How to attach flatbands (by Flippinout Slingshots)

Like I said, I haven't done it yet, but I found these both very well done, easy to understand, and are the method I plan to employ once all my other more necessary projects are done and I can play around with my own catty.

    Later!

I attach the bands the same way that Fish did . It works great and never had a band or tube come loose on me .

    Cheers

Nicely done, Fish. Same method as the fellas at Flippinout.
I think that's the first of your videos I've watched. You have a gentle, school-teacher like voice, not entirely dissimilar to Bill Oddie, in my mind...
