nice work here man tried to put a forestry axe design on my antler handle i had made for my bush knife not as easy as it looks turned out ok but still nothing amazing i used american walnut dust ground down to a powder with some instant coffee and french polishers wax never though of the soot method great write up too

That's amazing work, I'm making another antler thumb stick as gift. I now know how to make it a bit more unique as scrimshaw isn't really used at all in the stick dressing world
