    Old Army canteen with cup

Bumbled into a charity shop in town and found this old Norwegian army canteen with metal cup in the crusader style.

I think I'll just keep the canteen and pouch in my collection of junk, but the cup may see some action. Too bad it looks like aluminium not stainless steel.
The bottle looks soldered together, and is probably full of lead. The army used these right after WWII. I could probably ask the manufacurer as the company is still alive making high end pots and pans these days :-)

Anyway, paid 1£ for it (10 NOK) :-)

Victory awaits the one, that has everything in order - luck we call it
Defeat is an absolute consequense for the one that have neglected to do the necessary preparations - bad luck we call it

Don't think I'll bother. I only wanted it for the mug :-)

I have a perfectly good current army style canteen bottle. But it only has a plastic cup....
