"say hello to my little friend"!!

Just a timely reminder about the dreaded ticks folks.

Pulled this nasty wee bugger off my dog this morning. Fortunately I haven't had any so far this year after having got 7 in one camp last year.

Lymes Disease is horrible and cannot be cured easily. So be careful out there and check yourself regularly.

I get bitten by just about everything out there that bites, but I have yet to see one of those on me.
Those tools are meant to be good.. Are they easy to use..?

Yep. They are fantastic. Slid it under the ticks head, twist slowly and raise it up.

Little fella (actually big bugger!) popped straight out.

The tool is a permanent part of my field first aid kit.
