I am thinking after the success of a few family wild camps near home in the Peak District, that we'd try somewhere new!
I'm thinking of the Pinewoods/Sand Dunes near Southport or some where on't other side e.g. Scarborough/Whitby, can any one local to those areas recommend any possible locations for such an outing?
My kids are 9 & 13 & experienced campers/outdoor enthusiasts, so no issues there!

I've been looking at a camp over Formby way myself. There are plenty of possibilities from memory but it's been a while since I was out that way. I'm hoping to take the kids for a day trip in the next week or so. If I manage to get out there I will be looking with an eye to a future camp so I will let you know.
