Bought this purely for kicks
I do not expect this to hold up to any real abuse - though I can say as a former WMA instructor that this would be a formidable (albeit short) weapon for close quarters fighting.
I exchanged the black paracord wrapping with some coyote brown. I bought one more with a friend (a former WMA student of mine) - and I want mine to be distinguishable from hers.
The hawk comes with a fairly nice nylon sheath - and a really crappy carabiner and even crappier yet plastic compass btw.
