    That's too obvious!!!! Is like saying "I'd use it as paracord."

    Oh, a tournequette! Tie it like the basic necktie knot, put one more loop over before you go through and under, then it acts like a plastic zip tie, it locks in place, undo by flipping the outer loop over the knot and take apart. Makes a handy simple "Fire and Forget" garrotte that way, but not much of a survival aid unless talking about snares.
