    Oyster Mushroom

    Hi folks
    Thought I'd share this with you all. It's a tree stump that has thrown up a colossal amount of Oyster Mushrooms for the past 6 years that I know of.

    It has usually 3 flushes per year between late May and August.

    No mate. It was Naff-off who wrote that. Buggerov wrote the accompanying guide to foraging everybody else's bacon butties!

    LOL - aye that's the sort of wild foraging that is sure to make folk wild.
    What are the main ID features of oyster mushroom that make them oyster mushroom - apart from a label on the packet in Tesco Morrisons or you showing us where the above stump is so that we can see the signs live!! ;-) (well, it was worth a try...)
