Hi midas the snares that I use myself are hung outside for about a week or leave them on the dung heap for the day other than that nothing and I do have some good results.
I got some snares from the Great Yorkshire show but never used them. Must get round to it this year as last year was a bit lean relying only on the rifle.
I am about to read a cook on the wild side. Bought the dvd on amazon. Watched the two series over Christmas. Gaining some insight into the hedgerow deli courtesy of whittingstall
