    New hookknife

    Aye folks
    Well It came today
    My new Mora 162 hook knife . Im well happy with it . lookin forward to gettin some work done with it today.

    If it's the one I have, with the dual edge, be careful about putting your thumb on the back, you can get a nasty cut......

    Aye Mike I know about the double edge on this knife found out the emmmm hard way lol when I borrowed one from my mate.
    Its a great knife though Thats the 164 and the 162 I have now .
    And for the price you realy cant get a better tool for the job of making spoons and bowls.

    I agree, I've made quite a few spoons. One thing I did was cut the last 1/4"-3/8" off the blade, found it to work a bit better.

    i have a leather thumb covering when i use the double edge !!
