    Love the grain pattern in the bottom BB. Look I'm not being naive but is the same birch as we get over here (silver birch?). Any way looking good mate. Paul

    I think it might be we got silver birch over here to. This is the white paper birch though but what lovely wood to work next to beech and apple this is one of my favorites

    Almost done now the fun part of sanding waiting for it to fully dry to before I can oil it

    Yep soon as shes dried out enough and I get finished sanding gonna use tung oil
