    Beech kuksa and spoons

    This I am doing as a trade for a custom carving knife kit here is his set of spoons and the kuksa all from beech oh and this was all done before I got my carving hatchet and my Bark River knife done with the hawk and my Mora 840

    It was once this log half maybe about 2 months or so ago


















    to the final of this now just waiting to get some tung oil to coat the spoons and kuksa with next week should have the oil give a final good sanding and the following week will be bathing in some oil

    nice job mate,try a tooled finish it looks nice and dont go fluffy when washed like sanded.

    Ya know I been thinking about that specially seeing as the guy who is getting this is a blacksmith to so it would be fitting
