    Chris Cain Companion Knife

Hi All, I've had my eye on the Chris Cain Companion Knife for sometime now. I was wondering if anybody has had a chance to use this blade or by chance own one. It will be en expensive endeavor to get one to the States and would like some input before I make the decision. Basically I love the design and material they put it together with, sheath is kinda wonky but it'll do. Anyone?Name: Chris Caine Companion knife.jpg

Well Honestly that was my thought. I have made some blades previously, but I have not gone more than a 4 inch blade. So I am a little hesitant to make a blade extending to 8 inches. But I'm willing to give it a go

Isn't all that hard, just heat treating something that size may be a bit tricky, but is doable. I say start sorting out what you need and post us a build along thread.

I've used the big one. It's too heavy and the convex profile is too steep. Unless he's had serious changes, I'm not sure it'll be any different. Eight inches seems like a crazy length.
