    Not sure if Bens gardening skills are that great so chances are that the bush has died since this post was started about ten months ago

    sure its not forsythia? it flowers February normally before the leaves form too,ide put money on it being forsythia.

    Bush recognition is hardly an appropriate subject for public discussion I feel. Particularly when the names of certain ladies are being ascribed to the bush. Don't misunderstand me, I was an avid student of bush recognition in my younger days, but I only ever discussed what I had learned with close confidants.
