    Multi fuel stove developments

There are a good few folk on here that are fans of the Backpackinglight Honey Stove and for good reason, it is a great peice of kit. There has now been some evolution however in the shape of a titanium version for the ultimate lightweighters. Also a Pocket Stove has been developed in stainless and titanium that look very nice so I thought I would post the link so that all can enjoy the shinyness of them.

    Enjoy

I started drooling and then remembered my DIY hobo stove. I've fine-tuned it and it works brill. Made up of of 100mm Zebra Billy with a 90mm inner (ex-catering) tin, lots of holes drilled in the right places, a set of skewers that can vary the height of both the burning medium and the pot base, using either a meths burner or organic material. I've found my perfect one-man-cooker. I've also developed a 'breather base' made up of a curled and shaped wire mesh (cut from a catering sieve), which, when scrunched-up and flattened, will fit in the base and allow oxygen to circulate beneath the fire.

    I think I did a thread a while back..here I think.

    Will do Tony!

....just sorting out my Landy at the mo', fixing it up and getting it through the LEZ.

When that's done, I'm taking time out to (finally) drive round this isle.
