    Southeast short of water!

So, I'm sat watching the news, rain lashing the windows, when they announce the possibility of a hosepipe ban.
The North finally has something the South doesn't.I do hope there is some bartering done.
Seriously, this is not a new problem by any means, the solution will be a long time coming. I hope the Southeast doesn't have to endure too much hardship, least of all the wildlife and their habitats.
Will there be a march to Newcastle??

The same region that apparently can't get building insurance, because of the high flood risk.Ha ha ha.
If you stretch out both arms to represent all time on earth, then with one stroke of a nail file you could eradicate all human history, and 98 per cent of all human history was spent in the stone age.

Now now, one must not gloat over others misfortune
Although, as the article suggests this was raised in the 70's.....

They don't need to, when the ban comes in they will be off to their holiday homes in a country that has water

    Easy tigers!

This means that I'll have to fill my jacuzzi with champagne. Again.

Down on the farm in North Devon I have thought that the world was going to dissolve at times. Over here in East Anglia, I fully expect to see stand pipes this year.
Fortunately, I have a water bowser so that can be dragged up to the stand pipe and filled.
But, if the sky pixie is merciful, I shall be spending most of this year viewing properties in France. So if anyone hears of anything with a forest, lakes and a river please PM me
Only my dog can judge me
