    Owl Spoon

Just started a new carving project tonight, this is a first for me so I'm hoping it turns out ok Especially as I'm using a rather special piece of wood... a piece I collected from http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/fo...-Wistmans-wood from a dead oak tree and saving for something special. So I'm carving an owl spoon for one of my friends as a Christmas present.

Heres a coupla pics of what I've achieved so far.

I concur ! There are a couple near the house, a bit elusive , but when I am lucky enough , I could sit and watch them all day.
